Good morning! The crisp Takengon air welcomes you. Our team will pick you up at the meeting point and brief you on today’s itinerary, where we will explore the true heart of the Gayo.

09:15 – 10:30 | Pantan Terong Peak: A Heavenly View from Above

Our journey begins with a climb to the best panoramic spot! From Pantan Terong Peak, witness the magical view of the entire city of Takengon and Lake Lut Tawar spread out below like a giant carpet.

10:30 – 11:30 | Feeling the City’s Pulse at Pasar Bawah (The Lower Market)

We head down to the city’s heart to experience local life. Explore the authentic Pasar Bawah, see the fresh produce from the Gayo Highlands, and taste local delicacies like lepat (a traditional sticky rice cake) sold at the market.

11:30 – 12:15 | Visiting the Aman Dimot Monument & Gayo History

We’ll stop at one of the city’s main roundabouts to see the Aman Dimot Monument. Listen to our guide’s stories about this Gayo warrior and get a glimpse of the history and spirit of the people who inhabit these highlands.

12:15 – 13:30 | Authentic Gayo Lunch in the Heart of the City

Time to refuel! We’ll stop for lunch. Our guide will recommend the best local restaurant in the city center for you to taste authentic Gayo cuisine.

13:30 – 14:15 | Visiting the Magnificent Ruhama Grand Mosque

We will visit Takengon’s most proud landmark. Admire the unique and magnificent architecture of the Ruhama Grand Mosque, which serves as the spiritual and social center for the modern Gayo people, standing majestically in the city center.

14:15 – 15:30 | The Gayo Coffee Ritual: Sipping Paradise in its Homeland

The perfect finale! A trip to Takengon isn’t complete without coffee. We’ll end our tour at one of the city’s legendary cafes or roasteries. Relax and taste the world’s best Arabica Gayo Coffee right at the source.

15:30 | Tour Concludes & Return to Accommodation
